About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our team on a large-scale Battery Energy Storage System Project located in Newcastle on a full-time project-based contract basis. Reporting to the Project Manager you be responsible for ensuring that all works are carried out in accordance with the scope of work, providing support and leadership to the construction team and assume responsibility for all site project requirements.
In addition, some of your key tasks will include;
- Providing leadership and direction to the project supervisors for the electrical installation requirements of the contract.
- Assist in preparation, issue and close-out of technical queries in accordance with procedures
- Meet Project quality Objectives through implementation of given work methods, controlling procedures, work instructions and forms applicable to this project and as shown in Quality Management Plan
- Assist in preparation, issue and close out of Technical queries site wide and execute it in accordance with the procedure
- Be visible on site to encourage, monitor and assess all aspects of safe working procedures
- Ensure materials to be installed or in use in your area of control do meet the requirements as per Project Specification
About You
To be successful in this position you will bring your extensive experience as a Site Manager delivering green and brownfields projects within the electrical construction or renewables industry, as well as your well-developed leadership and people management skills.
In addition, you will be able to demonstrate the following
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal) with the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders and clients.
- Well developed stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Previous experience in management project contracts, budgets and allocating resources to meet project plans and timeframes.
- NSW Electrical Licence
- High level of commitment to safety and SCEE Electrical values
- Strong computer literacy
